Privacy Policy

This policy applies to lukasz.io and related pages I operate, including any form where you give your mobile number to join the newsletter. It also covers the text messages themselves.

I am the sender of those messages. Twilio, Inc. is the service that transmits them. Twilio processes your number and message content only to deliver the program on my behalf. Twilio does not use that information to market its own products to you.

The program name is the Lukasz newsletter. It is a recurring SMS (and, where supported, MMS) program about design work, studio notes, and occasional announcements. It is not a condition of browsing this site, hiring me, or buying anything.

How you consent

You opt in only by choice. On the signup form, you enter your mobile number and check an optional box that is not selected for you. That box is only for promotional and marketing text messages. It is separate from these terms and from any other consent. Submitting the form with that box checked is your consent to receive the messages described here. You confirm that the number is yours, or that you have permission from the account holder to use it.

The form uses this disclosure:

After you submit, I may send one confirmation text. That confirmation is part of the program and includes how to cancel.

What you will receive

• Newsletter and announcement texts you signed up for.
• A confirmation when you join.
• Replies to STOP and HELP, including a final opt-out confirmation.

Message frequency varies, and is typically no more than four newsletter messages a month, plus those confirmation and help messages. Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier sets those rates. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Messages may contain embedded links and phone numbers. They do not contain direct lending content or age-gated content. The Terms describe this in full.

How to opt out or get help

Reply STOP to any message to cancel. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, and QUIT also cancel the program. You will receive one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and then no further newsletter texts. Opting out of texts does not block email if you contact me separately by email.

Mobile numbers are not shared for marketing

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with the vendor that delivers the messages (Twilio) and other service providers who process that data only to run this program.

I do not sell mobile numbers. I do not share your opt-in, your consent record, or your phone number with data brokers, list brokers, or other advertisers.

Depending on how you use the site, I may collect:

• Newsletter signup. Mobile number, and your name or email if you choose to give them. I also keep a consent record: the date and time, the form you used, and the disclosure you agreed to.
• Message operations. Delivery status, carrier responses, and the content of messages in the program, including STOP and HELP replies. Twilio provides this so the messages can be sent and so an opt-out is honored.
• Correspondence. If you email or call, I keep what you send so I can reply.
• Site logs. Hosting may record IP address, browser type, and pages requested. I use that to operate and secure the site.

I do not require an account to read the portfolio.

• Send the newsletter you requested, and the service texts that go with it.
• Record consent and opt-out so I text only people who asked, and stop when they cancel.
• Answer inquiries you send me.
• Keep the site secure and fix technical problems.
• Meet legal duties, including carrier and messaging-provider rules for this program.

I share personal information only in these cases:

• Twilio. Your mobile number, message content, and delivery data go to Twilio solely to transmit the newsletter and related service messages. Twilio's privacy policy is at twilio.com/legal/privacy.
• Hosting and email tools. The site and my email inbox are operated with infrastructure providers who process data to host the site or deliver mail.
• Legal requirements. I may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect against abuse of the messaging program.

All of the above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent from any marketing or promotional share. That opt-in data is not shared with any third party except as needed to provide the text message service.

I keep your number and consent record while you are subscribed. After you reply STOP, I stop sending newsletter texts and I keep the opt-out record so I do not sign you up again by mistake. I delete or stop using the number for the newsletter once it is no longer needed for that record, unless I must keep it longer to meet a legal duty.

Email you send me is kept as long as the conversation is relevant, then deleted.

You can cancel texts at any time by replying STOP. You can ask me what information I have, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it, by emailing lukaszwdesign@gmail.com. Deleting a number does not override an opt-out record I must keep so I do not text you again.

I do not sell personal information, and I do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

This site and the text newsletter are meant for adults. I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and the text program is not directed at anyone under 18. If you believe I have a number for a minor, email me and I will delete it.

I limit access to signup and consent records and use providers that protect data in transit. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

If I change this policy, I will post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially expands how I use mobile numbers, I will not apply that new use to existing subscribers without a fresh consent.
