ABOUT

Overview

After relocating to Sunny Venice, California, I got the call from Dropzone Festival Bangkok, an ambitious new event that was doing something genuinely different in the festival space. This wasn't just a music event. Headlined by artists including A-Trak, Kaskade, Paul van Dyk, and other legends, the festival was built around an original sci-fi universe, using cinematic short films and world building content to create a narrative layer most festivals never attempt. The brand was locked in on what they wanted.

Map & world

Alongside the core brand system, the work extended into every surface the festival touched. Including social content, paid ads, newsletters, and motion pieces. That meant moving fluidly between disciplines, 3D renders for key art and motion, design integrated directly into video for trailers and recaps, and cut-down assets shaped for each format's specific demands. The goal was a world that felt consistent whether someone encountered it on a billboard, an Instagram story, or a festival screen.

Logo motion

I collaborated with a world class concept artist, and friend, from Blizzard Entertainment to bring that universe to life. The creative challenge was translating a fictional world that had its own lore, factions, and aesthetic into a cohesive brand system that worked across every touchpoint with attendees. That meant not just the website, but brand assets, visual language, and digital experiences that needed to feel like they belonged to the same world the shorts were building. This project led to a lot of growth because it was part brand design, part world building, part product design and a reminder that the best digital experiences don't just inform, they immerse. It's why brands like Nike excel.
